Are we what we eat
Or what eats us
Are we in the Spirit
Or is the Spirit in us
Do we become
What overcomes us
There is one
Greater than us
Let us be consumed
By that
We are consumers
Of the Word of God
We take in the Word
By reading the Bible
Feasting on his flesh
And drinking his blood
It is a never ending well
Of nourishment
For our soul
St. John 6:56
“He that eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, dwells in me, and I in him.”
Revelation 10:10-11
“And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and at it up…and he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many people, and nations, and tongues, and kings.”
