Adam and Eve

In the beginning

There was nothing man made

Nothing but God and his creation

No sin

One thing though—

If you eat from the tree of knowledge

You will die

And just what was death to them

They were never born

And just how old were Adam and Eve

They were never children, infants

Just created by God in his image

So he must have given them his mind too

Or somehow taught them

Everything there is to know

And exactly what language

Did they speak back then

That even serpents

Could communicate

With God’s creation

How much time had passed

From God telling Adam

Not to eat from the tree of knowledge

To the moment when Eve did

Was it a day, a month, a year?

How do we measure time

When no time has passed

Time cannot stand between

Me and my savior

No sin, no salvation

No time in between

The sinner and the savior

Rev 10:6-7

“And sware by him that lives for ever and ever…that there should be time no longer…the mystery of God should be finished…”

Second Coming

That which was

Came from

What it would become

And what it would become

Came after what it was

Now how could that be?

If what it was

Came from

What it would become

Then what it would become

Would have to come before—

Not after—

What it was

So how is it

That which

Came before

Comes after

St. John 1:15

“…He that comes after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.”

St. Matthew 19:30

“But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.”

The Law

Our physical body

Is subject

To the laws of nature

But the body of Christ–

His spirit

Is not subject to these laws

She is subject only

To the Word of God

The law

Romans 7:25

“…So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.”

Romans 8:2

“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”
