How could Christ reach those

In the depths of hell

And lift them up

By coming to them

Because they could not reach him

So he came to them

Psalms 16:11

“For thou will not leave my soul in hell…”

Lord’s Table

Art: The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci

It is better
To eat crumbs
From the Lord’s table
Than to eat meat
With the kings

St. Matthew 15:27

“And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their master’s table.”

Jesus Christ

Shadow of Death – William Holman Hunt 1873

The epitome of

Divinity in humanity

He humbled himself

To become like us

Now he waits patiently

For us to grow up

And become like him

To remember where

We came from

To remember

Our divine birthright

We glorify him

With our own body

By becoming him

He is the divinity

Who embraces

All humanity

All his children

What veils the truth

From our comprehension

The mind is limited

In its understanding

But the Spirit has no limits

Truth and love

Are plain to see

I in you

And you in me

Love is a commitment

Based on truth

Without truth

There is no love

Without love

There is no marriage

Without marriage

There is no unity

St. John 14:17

“Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive…but ye know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you.”
