Or the way of the world
The choice is ours
The way of Christ is
Becoming one with God
Showing us who we really are
The way of the world
Will tell you who you are
And will define who you are
To the point that you will believe

Of transcendence
To our true Self

Now how could that be?

Then what it would become
Would have to come before–
Not after–

So how is it
That which
Came before
Comes after

When the subject
Becomes the object
