He drew me

And I fought

I would not let go

And leave all this

I would not

I fought and cried

Only tiring myself out

And he sat calmly

Not saying a word

Drawing me

Ever so close

With just his presence

My eyes grew heavy

And the light grew dim

Until the very last slit of light

Faded as my eyes closed

And my body fell to sleep

He won me over

He lured me

I fighting all the way

But now as I enter sleep

I find it the most

Delightful place to be

For although sleep

Overtook me

I am not asleep

And that is the glory

Of making a dream

Come true

Source of Salvation

We all came from

The same source

But how is it

That the source

Is ahead of us

And not behind

Seeing beyond sin

We can see Christ

Thereby putting sin

In our past

And Christ in our future

The seed of sin becomes

The glory of salvation

St. Matthew 16:23

“Get thee behind me Satan…”

Thine Own Self

What you put
Into the world
Will return to you

As one who is sent
Returns to the one
Who sent him

And the one
Who sent him
Will receive
The one who
Returns to him

As his own self

St. John 14:3
“I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

St. John 17:5
“And now, O’ Father, glorify me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.”

Second Coming

When Jesus Christ

Rose from the dead

He took his body with him

So when he appears

A second time

His body

Who is his Spirit

Will appear with him

For they are one

Where he is I am

He is risen

Colossians 3:4

“When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with him in glory.”
