Dreams are shattered
Every morning
When we wake up
But if we awake
Within the dream
Then we have vision
I Corinth 15:51
“Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed.”
Dreams are shattered
Every morning
When we wake up
But if we awake
Within the dream
Then we have vision
I Corinth 15:51
“Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed.”
Together we are all a part
Of the great mystery
Though no longer a mystery
When we see our part in it
I Corinth 15:51
“Behold, I will show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed.”
We are fascinated
With the unknown
The unseen
That which we know is real
But have no way to prove it
Maybe the unknown
Does not want to be known
Maybe what is a mystery
Wants to remain a mystery
Maybe the mystery
Wants to be left alone
Shrouded in darkness
Nevertheless
We tear at her veil
Uncovering her every secret
Bringing to light all that she is
Yet we still remain
Mystified by her

There is Christ
And his church
His wife
Who is his cross
His body
His kingdom
He is hers
And she is his
They belong
To each other
For they are
Each other
Intertwined
Inseparable
They represent
The two
In one flesh
Ephesians 5:31-32
“…and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery; but I speak concerning Christ and the church.”
When a wife gives herself
Completely to her husband
She literally becomes him
And loses herself
Her life becomes his
The two become one
Literally
She becomes him
And he becomes her
She loses her life
But gains a husband
Who gave his life
For hers
Ephesians 5:32
“This is a great mystery; but I speak concerning Christ and the church.”
We are fascinated

Maybe the mystery
Wants to be left alone
Shrouded in darkness
Nevertheless
They tear at her veil
Uncovering her every secret
Bringing to light all that she is
Yet they still remain
Mystified by her
And still do not know her
My relationship
With Christ
Is not physical
But spiritual
That which cannot
Be defined
The physical
Is only a way
To understand
The spiritual
++++++++++++
Is the primal scream
From she
Who cries out
In pain
To be delivered
Or from she
Who cries out
In ecstasy
As she comes together
With her Lord
Ephesians 6:31-31
“…and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.”
