Perception

What is the difference
Between two things

Between the physical
And the spiritual

One is temporal
The other eternal

One has form
The other formless

One we can see
One we cannot

Nevertheless
These two are
Still the same

If we see a difference
Our perception
Is not aligned
With the eternal

St. John 10:30

“I and my father are one.”

Descendants

In the beginning

The Word

Became flesh

In the beginning

Man became

A living soul

One was created

One was born

The creator

Became flesh

And the created

Became a living soul

Are we descendants

Of the living soul

Or the flesh

I Corinth 15:45-46

“The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.  Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.”

We as a people

Have the luxury

Of hindsight

From where we are now

We can reflect back

To the very beginning

Of existence as we know it

Through science

We see the physical world

But through the scriptures

We see the spiritual world

Science has the big bang

As a creation story

Or something out of nothing

To account for our physical being

The Bible also has a creation story

Showing us our spiritual evolution

To reveal to us our spiritual body

Science reaches back to the

Depths of time in space

To find the beginning of time

Likewise through the scriptures

We can reach back

To the depths

Of our spiritual source

Come Together

My relationship

With Christ

Is not physical

But spiritual

That which cannot

Be defined

The physical

Is only a way

To understand

The spiritual

++++++++++++

Is the primal scream

From she

Who cries out

In pain

To be delivered

Or from she

Who cries out

In ecstasy

As she comes together

With her Lord

Ephesians 6:31-31

“…and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.  This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.”
